Utica, NY (March 2025)—The New York Beef Council (NYBC) is thrilled to announce that voting for the 9th Annual Best NY Burger Competition is officially open! Now is the time for burger lovers across the state to cast their votes and help decide which restaurant serves the best 100% beef burger in New York.

Voting runs from March 19 – April 11, 2025, with the Top 10 finalists revealed on April 14, 2025. From there, a panel of anonymous judges will evaluate the finalists based on taste, presentation, and overall experience. The winner will be crowned on May 12, 2025, at the State Capitol during the May Beef Month Proclamation.

“This competition wouldn’t be possible without the enthusiasm of burger fans and the support of our incredible partners at the Iowa Beef Council,” said Chrissy Claudio, Director of Consumer Engagement at NYBC. “We’ve seen an impressive lineup of nominations, and now it’s time for the public to help determine which burger reigns supreme.”

Burger aficionados are encouraged to rally behind their favorite restaurants and burgers, spreading the word on social media and encouraging others to participate in the voting process. Every vote counts in determining the ultimate winner of the 2024 Best NY Burger Contest.
