Voting Opens for 8th Annual Best NY Burger Competition

Utica, NY (March 2024) – The excitement is palpable as the New York Beef Council (NYBC) announces the commencement of voting for the revamped 8th Annual Best NY Burger Competition. This year, the competition introduces an innovative format designed to enhance participation and celebrate the culinary excellence of New York State.

Voting is now open and will continue until April 1st, 2024, giving burger enthusiasts across the state ample time to support their favorite restaurants and burgers. Participants are encouraged to cast their votes online via the NYBC website, expressing their preference for the most delectable, innovative, and mouthwatering beef burgers they have savored during their culinary adventures.

In this new format, the Top Ten finalists will be announced following the conclusion of the voting period. These finalists will be selected based on the number of votes received, with each restaurant's burger earning a coveted spot in the final round. The stage is set for a thrilling showdown as a panel of anonymous judges will evaluate the finalists based on taste, appearance, presentation, and overall eating experience to determine the winner of the 2024 Best NY Burger Contest.

"We are thrilled to introduce this exciting new format for the Best NY Burger Competition," said Chrissy Claudio, Director of Consumer Engagement at the New York Beef Council. "By extending the voting process and incorporating the expertise of our esteemed panel of judges, we aim to showcase the best of what New York State has to offer in terms of culinary innovation and exceptional beef burgers."
