Best New York Burger Contest 2019

New York Beef Council once again asked a simple question in April, “Who has the ‘Best NY Burger”’?  After many nominations, votes and debate this question has been answered through the taste buds of consumers and the final tasting efforts of five judges from across the state.   

The 2019 “Best NY Burger” Winner is FOUR TIME WINNER - Syracuse’s Ale `n Angus Pub, with their “Beef on Weck” Burger!  (there’s something special about this place…)   

Final 4 Winners: (excluding Ale `n Angus Pub) 

  • 2nd Place Black Door Burger, Long Beach – “Black Out Burger"
  • 3rd Place Madison Bistro, Wampsville – “Texan Burger” 
  • 4th Place CB Craft Brewers, Honeoye Falls, NY – “MacBubba Burger”

  • Crazy Otto’s Empire Diner, Herkimer - “Mushroom Cheeseburger”
