"Meat Your Beef" Tours 

The New York Beef Council is excited to partner with the New York Agriculture in the Classroom Program (NYAIC) and local beef producers from throughout the state to offer a unique day on the farm. Farm tours will be hosted at three locations throughout the state in June. NYAIC will host a "pre-tour" session designed specifically for educators which will include resources for your classroom and professional development credits. 4 CPEU are also available for Registered Dietitians.

Who Should Attend:

Food Service Distributor Sales Associates, Restaurant Owners, Chefs, Chef Educators/Culinary Schools, BOCES Instructors (sorry no students on this tour), Retail Meat Manager, Retail Store Manager, Registered Dietitians, Dietetic Interns, Fitness Professionals, Food Editors, Community Bloggers, Ag & Market Associates, Cornell Cooperative Extension, Family and Consumer Science Educators, STEM Educators


These 10am-2pm tours provide a boots-on-the-ground view of the beef industry from the people who know it best including farmers, veterinarians, and industry representatives! Providing information about a broad number of topics our hosts are eager to answer your questions!
