The New York Beef Industry Council, in partnership with your school health teacher are promoting the importance of healthy eating and regular family meals.  We invite submissions of family mealtime photographs for our 2008 Student Creative Cooking Contest.  If you choose to participate, you are eligible to win some great prizes as well as receive extra credit in your health class!  This gives you an excuse to log-on to Facebook at home, it makes having homework fun and it provides you an opportunity to enjoy a nutritious meal with your family.       

Let your photo show your personality and what your typical family meal looks like.  We want you to get creative in the kitchen!  Capture those moments of you preparing a meal, your family sitting around the dinner table, the picture perfect meal plated and ready to serve, or the stack of dishes that lead to a wonderful meal.   The photo opportunities are endless!  Even if no one likes your peanut butter spaghetti, just remember: delicious meals and great photos come from creative and adventurous minds.  Get cooking!
