2009 New York State Fair Events

Daily cooking demonstrations performed August 27 through September 7th on the hour from 11am - 5pm. Come see and taste a cooking demo with celebrity and media helpers! The following recipes will be demonstrated as scheduled:

11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. Delicious Ground Beef Recipes (recipes alternate daily)
     • Cowboy Beef & Black Bean Chili
     • Chipotle Sloppy Joe

12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Fully Cooked Beef Tips from Tyson (recipes alternate daily)
     • Stuffed Green Peppers w/ Beef Steak Tips
     • Smoky Beef Enchilada Skillet

1:00p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Great Grilling with Steaks or a Meat Cutting Demo (recipes and cutting demo alternate)
     • Spicy Grilled Steaks
     • Steaks w/ Blue Cheese Butter & Mushrooms
     • East Meets West Steak Wrap

2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Cooking with Veal
     • Veal Chili

3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Stir-Frying for Fast and Easy Meals (recipes alternate daily)
     • Beef & Vegetable Skillet
     • Oriental Beef Express

4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Fully Cooked Pot Roast from Tyson (recipes alternate daily)
     • Tex Mex Smokey Beef Chili Hash
     • Beef King Ranch Casserole

5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Fully Cooked Dinosaur BBQ's "Not Your Mama's Meatloaf"
     • BBQ Beef Pizza

Don't Forget BEEF DAY - September 1st, 2009 Chevy Court Pavilion

10:00 a.m. - Media Cookoff - Come see your favorite media personality compete for bragging rights as they try to please the judges with their tasty beef recipes! 

1:00 p.m. - Create the Perfect Burger Contest - We chose ten of our favorite recipes from the entries we received and each contestant will be grilling their perfect burger live on Beef Day with the hopes of winning a new gas grill or some of our other fabulous prizes.  Wish them luck!
